Prior to the build days we need to remove sand from both playgrounds.

On Friday, the major task will be digging holes for the equipment.  These holes will need either brick or concrete slabs in the bottom to anchor the equipment.  If you have any bricks or blocks you could donate, please contact Marybeth Pike at marybethpike@wearefriendspto.com.  The base poles of the equipment will be assembled and put in the holes.  We need some backhoes with an auger attachment to make this part go smoothly.

On Saturday, the bulk of the equipment will be assembled and put on the anchors.  Late in the day, the concrete will be poured around the structures.

On Sunday, the wood carpet will be spread.  We will need backhoes to get this done quickly.

Once constructed, we will not be able to use the playground for another 3-4 days while the concrete sets.

Today, everyone at Center Woods celebrated Mr.Chauvette’s 50th Birthday!  Students sang songs, gave gifts, blew out candles, and even ate birthday cake! It was an all around good time!  We hope you had a fabulous day!

Thank you to everyone who helped out with the Bus Driver Appreciation Breakfast. It was a big success. All the bus drivers were very thankful and Anna Brunelle organized a great event. Also a big thank you to those who donated raffle items and the Trombleys for donating beautiful plants.

Our annual Bus Driver Appreciation Breakfast has been scheduled for Tuesday, June 16th.  This is when we ask volunteers to send in a breakfast item for the drivers to enjoy before their morning bus runs.  If you are able to make something for this event or if you have some extra time to help cook pancakes and eggs, please contact Anna Brunelle at anna294ever@comcast.net.
